Warehousing and storage services in Los Angeles, with about 286,000 sq ft across three buildings near the ports. Our Vernon and Commerce warehouses handle pallet and case storage, container unloading, transloading and cross-docking seven days a week, and our own trucks pull your containers from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, 18 to 22 miles away.

Why shippers choose our warehousing services
Our buildings sit 18 to 22 miles from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, and our own drayage fleet makes the run. Short, controlled drayage gets containers emptied and returned faster, which helps keep detention and per diem charges down.
About 286,000 sq ft across three facilities, with racked and floor storage. When we needed more room, we sourced, signed and started receiving freight in a new 50,000 sq ft building within two weeks.
Every pallet and carton is tracked in our Extensiv WMS from the moment it’s received. You see on-hand stock, inbound receipts and outbound orders in real time, without waiting on a weekly report.
Alongside general merchandise, we handle hazmat freight, operate FDA-registered warehouse space and offer temperature-controlled space in one of our buildings for products that need it.

How our warehousing works
Warehousing is more than square footage. The value comes from how quickly inventory gets in, how accurately it’s tracked while it sits, and how fast it can leave again when an order or a retailer calls for it.
Our drivers pick up your containers at the port, rail ramp or airport and bring them straight to our dock. We devan floor-loaded containers or receive palletized freight, check counts, label and put away by SKU, and keep everything visible in Extensiv until it ships out as parcels, cases, pallets or full truckloads.
Flexible storage for every freight profile
Some clients need long-term pallet storage for a steady import program. Others need overflow space for peak season, or a transload point to break down containers and send freight inland. We set up storage around how your freight actually moves, whether that’s pallet-in, pallet-out or case-in, case-out.
When goods need to move, we’re already set up for it: ecommerce fulfillment, B2B and retail distribution, kitting, value-added services, Amazon FBA inbound and local delivery on our own box trucks.

Our warehousing process
A simple, disciplined flow from the port to our racks and back out the door, run by our own team at every step.

What’s included
Our warehousing services cover storage, inventory control and the handling around it, from container unloading to outbound shipping, all from an asset-based 3PL that also runs its own trucks.
Everything handled under one roof
Because we run drayage and warehousing together, your freight doesn’t wait between providers. Containers come off the port onto our trucks and into our buildings, and outbound loads leave on our trucks or with partner carriers we manage.
Our three LA-area warehouses run extended hours seven days a week. That matters when a vessel arrives late, a retailer pulls an order forward or a promotion sells through faster than planned. Storing regulated products? See our beauty and cosmetics and supplement fulfillment programs.
Frequently asked questions
Warehousing services are the storage and handling of inventory on behalf of a business: receiving goods, storing them securely, tracking stock levels and preparing them to ship. A 3PL warehouse like QX adds the people, systems and transportation to move that inventory back out as orders, retail shipments or transfers.
A 3PL warehouse is a facility run by a third-party logistics provider that stores and ships inventory for multiple client businesses. Instead of leasing space and hiring a team, brands pay for the storage and handling they use. QX’s 3PL warehouses are in Vernon and Commerce, near the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Storage is usually priced per pallet, per bin or per square foot each month, with separate fees for receiving, handling and outbound work. Rates depend on how much space you need, how long inventory stays and how often it moves. Share your freight profile and we’ll quote it.
Yes. Alongside long-term storage, we take on overflow and seasonal inventory when your own warehouse or current 3PL runs out of room. Available space varies through the year, so reach out early if you’re planning for peak season.
Yes. We handle hazmat freight and operate FDA-registered warehouse space for products such as cosmetics, supplements and other regulated goods. One of our buildings also has temperature-controlled space for heat-sensitive inventory. Tell us your product’s requirements and we’ll confirm the right setup.
We run two warehouses in Vernon and one in Commerce, in the industrial core of Los Angeles County, about 18 to 22 miles from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Our headquarters is at 5685 Alcoa Ave, Vernon, CA 90058.
Yes. We unload ocean containers and transload freight into domestic trailers, and we cross-dock goods that need to move straight through to the next leg. Both run alongside our drayage service, so containers move from the port to our dock without a third-party trucker.
