B2B fulfillment and retail distribution for brands selling into big-box stores, wholesale accounts and Amazon, from Los Angeles. We build every shipment to the retailer’s routing guide, deliver store orders with our own box trucks and keep your wholesale customers stocked, so chargebacks don’t eat into your margin.

Why brands trust QX with B2B and retail fulfillment
Every retailer has its own routing guide, label specs and pallet rules. We build cartons and pallets to the requirements of retailers like Walmart, Costco, Home Depot and Sam’s Club, as well as Amazon, down to the Ti-Hi, so your shipments get received instead of refused.
Our 26-foot box trucks deliver store orders and replenishment across Southern California, the same middle-mile service we run for national fashion and beauty retailers. Our drayage fleet brings your imports in from the port. Fewer brokered legs means fewer missed appointments.
Purchase orders, advance ship notices and inventory updates move through our Extensiv WMS over EDI or API, so your team, your ERP and your buyers all see the same data.
One of our buildings turns around 18,000 cartons a day. Case-in, case-out and pallet-in, pallet-out work is our daily rhythm, with extended hours seven days a week when purchase orders pile up.

How our B2B fulfillment works
B2B fulfillment is about volume and precision. Instead of one item to one doorstep, you’re shipping cases and pallets to distribution centers and stores on booked appointments, with labels, paperwork and EDI messages that have to match exactly. Miss a detail and the retailer charges it back.
We receive your inventory, often straight off a container our own drivers picked up at the port, and hold it in one of our LA-area buildings. When a purchase order arrives, our team picks by case or pallet, builds and labels each shipment to the retailer’s routing guide, sends the advance ship notice and books the delivery, using our own trucks for local store and DC runs.
Wholesale, retail and DTC from one inventory
Few brands sell through just one channel. The same SKU might go to a Walmart DC by the pallet, to a wholesale account by the case and to a shopper’s door as a single unit. We fulfill all three from one inventory pool, so you never split stock between providers or guess where it’s sitting.
That makes retail dropship simple too. When a retailer’s website sells your product and you ship direct, we fulfill the order to the retailer’s packing slip and label requirements, right alongside your ecommerce fulfillment.

Our B2B and retail fulfillment process
Retail orders punish small mistakes, so our process is built around getting every detail right before the truck leaves the dock.

Receive
We unload floor-loaded or palletized freight, count it against your purchase order and put it away by SKU, ready for case or pallet picking.
Plan
Purchase orders arrive by EDI, API or from your team. We check quantities, ship windows and the retailer’s routing guide before any work starts.
Pick & build
Our team picks by case or pallet, builds pallets to the retailer’s Ti-Hi and applies GS1-128 carton labels that match the advance ship notice.
Ship
We send the ASN, book the carrier or load our own trucks, and deliver inside the retailer’s appointment window.
Rework
Need reticketing, relabeling, sorting or segregating before goods can ship? Our team handles retail prep and rework in-house.
Report
Order status, shipment confirmations and inventory levels in Extensiv, plus a team you can actually reach when a buyer has questions.
What’s included
Our B2B fulfillment and retail distribution services cover everything between your inventory and the retailer’s receiving dock, including the drayage, storage and delivery most providers leave to someone else.
Everything handled under one roof
Retail supply chains in Los Angeles usually start at the port. Our drayage fleet pulls your containers from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, so wholesale inventory can be received, stored and shipped back out without changing hands.
For store delivery, our 26-foot box trucks run middle-mile routes across Southern California, picking up from your DC or ours and delivering straight to the store. For longer lanes, we arrange LTL and truckload through trusted partner carriers. Selling home goods into big-box retail? See our home goods fulfillment program.
Frequently asked questions
B2B fulfillment is the process of storing, picking and shipping orders to other businesses, such as retailers, distributors and wholesale accounts, instead of to individual consumers. Orders are larger, usually ship by the case or pallet, and must follow the buyer’s labeling, packaging and delivery requirements.
DTC orders are small, frequent and go to homes. B2B orders are fewer but much larger, ship to warehouses or stores on booked appointments, and come with compliance rules for labels, pallets and EDI documents. A 3PL that handles both, like QX, lets you serve every channel from one inventory.
Retail compliance means meeting each retailer’s vendor requirements: routing guides, GS1-128 carton labels, pallet configurations, advance ship notices and delivery windows. Miss them and retailers issue chargebacks or refuse the shipment. We build every order to the retailer’s guide to protect your margin and your account.
We build shipments to the requirements of big-box and specialty retailers, including Walmart, Costco, Home Depot and Sam’s Club, as well as Amazon. Onboarding with a new retail account? Send us the routing guide and we’ll confirm exactly how we’ll handle it.
